Jordan and I have been teaching artists for the same nonprofit for years. Her animal collages are magnificent—a true reflection of the soulful, uplifting person she is. And she is going to teach us how it’s done! Come capture your affection for your beloved pet, a past one, or that of a friend.
From Jordan: Attendees will gain experience with paper collage, creating a value gradient, and mixed media techniques. Emphasis will be on fun, creative play, and a supportive environment. No experience necessary! All supplies included.

The invention of the modern Gelli plate 15 years ago made the ancient art of monoprinting affordable and accessible. It is serious fun, surprisingly intricate, and can now be taught in a day! Sign up with a friend or two for an early weekend wee-treat. This wildly popular art form is one of my favorites; I planned it for a Friday so you can spend your weekend practicing and playing with this newfound pastime. You’re welcome.

I have been an admirer of Alli Rogers Dahlgren’s music and words for many years, and the kinship was strong when we met. Our respective visions for using craft for personal expression and growth naturally align—Alli’s for the written word and mine for the visual arts. Join us over an April weekend as we bring together our mediums to create hand painted, handwritten art journals.

I took one class from Molly and knew I had to ask her to teach in my studio! Molly will be guiding us in a fan favorite: springtime botanicals.
From Molly: In this workshop we will create simple botanical illustrations from spring foliage and flowers collected on the property. Learn to sketch the shape of leaves and flowers then add ink and watercolor to bring your image to life. You will go home with a beautiful reminder of your day. Suitable for all levels.
